The future is coming: an automated metro without drivers will run on the D line, but automation is also planned on the oldest line of the Prague metro, the C line. The planning horizon is 2031. Automation will increase the capacity, flexibility and safety of Prague’s busiest line. The C line’s automation is a strategic project with significant modernisation and innovation benefits for Prague public transport, which is also included among priority projects in the field of clean and sustainable mobility of the Prague City 2030 Climate Plan.
