The B line’s section II. B from Florenc to Českomoravská opened after the Velvet Revolution, on 22 November 1990. A year after that, construction began towards Hloubětín; at the other end of the line, it continued towards Zličín. The third metro depot, which was originally supposed to be in Jinonice, is located there. The construction work ran into financial problems, but it would have been more demanding to preserve it than to finish it. Compared to the 1987 plan, it was delayed by only one year. It opened on 11 November 1994.
